I've decided to release a compilation of some of my better songs. Kudos to NG producers Haywyre, freddyfinger, war-spawn, YunVeroz, NielsB, and EternalXIII for giving me some wicked music to blab over, and Grimcredible for hopping on The Road. All of the songs are on Newgrounds to download and listen to as well. Here's a picture of me as a child for you to stare at while you listen to the music.
If you haven't listened to any of my tunes before I would recommend starting with Mr. Jones. Post a comment here and let me know your favorite track!
Peace,
Big Red

I have spent the past two months of my life directing a stage adaptation of Trainspotting at McGill University. Sadly most of you cannot come to see it, but you can check out a publicity video I made with the actors. The video features a song by the much loved NG musician Sorohanro. Enjoy :)

A great video:
An epic request:
Someone freakin sample Frank Zappa!
And check out the Canadian documentary RiP: A REMIX MANIFESTO about sampling.
Love,
Big Red
I'm digging through hip hop right now, here's some findings.
Stetsasonic "Talkin All That Jazz"
Pete Rock & C. L. Smooth "They Reminisce Over You"
Nujabes "Counting Stars"
Mac Lethal "Sun Storm"
Grieves "Irreversible"
This summer I was cooped up on an acreage fairly north in Alberta. Having some people on NG to jam with was an excellent way to kill time. I've got a few other tracks I'm working on, mostly waiting for me to record something because my piano is difficult to get the recording equipment out to, but here are the finished projects I've done with other NG musicians. When I get back to Montreal I've got a Roland Juno G connected to my computer so I can record anytime I sit down on the computer. That means I'll be looking to make a lot more music! Anyone interested should either throw me a message, or check out the jam thread in the Audio Forum: The Newgrounds Jam Session Project!
Here's my collabs so far:
BloodFest - Wish Your Were Here
BloodFest - Hey Jude
thecoreman - Stevie's Blues
BloodFest - Some BloodFest Blues
Sorohanro - Just a Little Jazz
Wyze-Stingray - Tripping
Sincerely,
Big Red
After months of sweet sweet work Crazy Dave is finally out! Now I've got three days to make a submission for the next contest, and hopefully a few months from now I'll have another animation out.

Well ladies and germs, I'm impressed and excited with the Newgrounds audio community. After a 3 year hiatus from this site I'm now getting back at it, mostly with audio instead of animation now. I sing, beatbox, rap, whistle, play piano, accordion, make funny noises, voice act, and will try anything else. If there's anyone out there who is as excited as I am about making quality music just send me a PM and lets get shit happening! I'd be keen on having some online jam sessions and putting together full songs of any style and any genre.
Pardon my excitement sometimes, I'm an extremely energetic and eager person (see: bat crazy). I hope to hear from some folks soon!

I need to raise money for the plane ticket, so I auctioned off my next hair cut. The winner was the good 'ol Friar Tuck! To view the hilarity see this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iY4xvlo Qqn4
I still need to raise money, so if you have a PayPal I would appreciate any kind of donation, from pennies to bills. Thanks to anyone who helps make this happen!
